SynchronyHR, a human resources outsourcing (HRO) firm headquartered in St. Louis, MO, continues to grow its Finance department with the addition of Dora Platero as Senior Tax Specialist.
In this new role, Platero will be managing all payroll tax projects both within SynchronyHR and client organizations. These projects include maintaining compliance with tax regulations, managing state registrations, overseeing reconciliations, and the disbursement of tax obligations.
“Our Finance department has seen tremendous growth throughout the past several months, due in part to an increase in client activity,” said Alison Sparks, Director of Finance. “Dora’s inclusion will be a vital part in further strengthening our team and the tax activities that we oversee. We trust her to effectively create policies and procedures within the department that will streamline processes and create efficiencies.”
Platero brings over 16 years of experience in payroll tax to SynchronyHR, five of which have been in the HRO/professional employer organization (PEO) industry.
