Dorothy Miraglia King Named Vice President, Organizational Strategy and Agency Development

SynchronyHR, a human resources outsourcing (HRO) firm headquartered in St. Louis, MO, has added Dorothy Miraglia King, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GBA to its rapidly growing team. Ms. King joins the organization’s leadership team in a new role; Vice President (VP), Organizational Strategy and Agency Development.


In addition to contributing to the overall stewardship of the company’s vision, mission, and goals, Ms. King is primarily responsible for planning, developing, and leading cross-company initiatives, including organizational development, new market expansion, product development, and mergers and acquisitions.

With over 30 years of human resources and employee benefits management experience, 15 of which were spent in the HRO/ professional employer organization (PEO) industry, Ms. King is also a subject matter expert in the areas of HR, compensation, compliance, benefits plan management, insurance, and agency administration. Her new VP role will also see her helping improve the effectiveness of SynchronyHR’s underwriting and risk management offerings.


Ms. King is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), WorldatWork, and the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (formerly NAHU). She is a licensed insurance agent in addition to attaining the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Senior Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Group Benefits Associate (GBA) certifications. Throughout her career she has held roles including Vice President of Strategic Benefit Solutions, Executive Vice President for Agency Operations, and Chief Operating Officer.
